A Royal Wedding is happening tomorrow.
Folks all over are busy putting the finishing touches on all the details so that nothing is missed. After all only the world will be watching…. and most likely many of you! Just as every flower will be in perfect arrangement, for a beautiful background that is picturesque of a fairy tale come true, so too will be the Secret Service.
Think about your own wedding and all the details you were concerned with. Now, imagine that ten fold and then some! It can be overwhelming to create a “simple little wedding” for yourself or your daughter or son. Imagine if you will to arrange a perfect wedding fit for a Prince.
Some of you may be planning Royal Wedding watching parties and such. Really, any excuse to gather with friends will do. So, lets take this a bit further, shall we?
Did you think about what it would be like to manage the security for an event such as this? The sheer number of people involved to maintain the safety of the guests, the Queen and the Royal family. Since we are part of the “Parliament” after all, lets see if you can spot any security who’s hiding in plain sight (concealing and under cover) while watching. Let us know if you are able to see any and count how many.
This will be fun especially if you are new to carrying on body. Because, I know how you feel. I felt it too! In some ways, it feels like a neon sign is flashing above your head announcing to the world that you are concealed carrying. But if you can consciously seek to spot those who are carrying, maybe you’ll begin to believe that others won’t see the gun on you.
After all, there will be those who are obviously (openly) carrying and are on-duty. But can you spot those incognito? You know they have to be there, right?
Let us know how many you found in the comment box below. You many want to try this over the weekend as well. There may be more folks like you than you thought.
Here ye, Here ye, Hail to those who concealed carry. Remember you yourself possess measured dignity by choosing to protect yourself. Never be a victim because of style.
XO,
Jan
P.S. Don’t forget to let us know in the box below how many people you spot concealing and protecting the Royals.
